So it turns out that there was some leftover trash from a particular R&B singer and new trash from some people connected to him. We even have to revisit the covering/lid war of 2018 because…..trash there too. We then reach the trash debatable portion of the episode which will probably resurface at some point. Not all things culture were negative this week, though, thus the name of this episode.
So we’re back from homecoming break and back on our bullshit. This episode is pretty damn wild.
If you're at a good party in Dallas, there's a good chance you're enjoying the talents of DJ Phife. We got a chance to have him in the studio with us to discuss his introduction to the craft and how he's grown to have his own hit single, "Turn It" feat. SVPA & Lil Ronny Motha F. With his wealth of knowledge on the music industry and the club/party scene the culture discussion was spirited and inspirational. #SayLess and press play, fam.
Do not wait to purchase your Bangers & Brunch tickets, presale tickets are nearly sold out!!!!
Cosign Magazine is a media brand dedicated to telling the stories of the people that drive the culture forward. We were lucky enough to get the brand's founder, KG, in the studio to discuss both his story and the story of Cosign. Of course we took a detour to discuss the beautiful Rosa Acosta and of course we had to discuss an eventful past few weeks in the culture. While we didn't get More Life from Drake, Nicki isn't necessarily dead. Also, Jay Z is enjoying more success and making more waves. Kanye, this is what happens when you avoid the sunken place. Say less and press play, fam.
Do not wait to purchase your Bangers & Brunch tickets as they are going fast and there will be limited sales at the door.
We’ve got the lovely Chan-Lo, Chief of Chic at cnkdaily.com (@CNKDaily), in the studio for Episode 31 and this recording was undoubtedly one of the most fun times we’ve been behind these microphones. From discussing her motivations as an influencer in shoe fashion and entrepreneurship to Valentine’s Day plans we touch all bases in getting to know the woman, the brand and the goals. But you know we gotta talk on the culture on the GC+ podcast and that’s when it got real. Kenny is still not safe. #SayLess family.
Thank you to all of our listeners who submitted questions and we definitely will be encouraging more listener questions going forward. Don’t forget to subscribe to the Good Culture youTube channel and turn on your notifications as new content will be rolling out soon!!!
We are byke (back for the intellectual GOOD people) in the studio for the eighth episode of the GC+ Podcast. Kenny (@TheKennyReeves), Lauren (@theellemac) and T. Lee (@CarLEEtosway) dive into discussions on an array of topics. Does Amber Rose have any right to come for Beyonce? What would slavery have looked like if they had our music to listen to? Did Ciara finally defeat the FutureHive? And this is definitely Obama's two week notice. What does a conversation on culture sound like discussing these things? Find out by pressing play. See y'all at GOOD Friday.
The Good Culture podcast introduces a new and creative concept in this episode. We are welcoming interesting and creative GroupMe chats into the studio as we continue to promote Dallas' emerging young black professional social scene. Our first GroupMe guests are Lauren and Sobechi from the Netwerk & Chill chat. We discuss the concept and conception of their chat and how it grew to such a large number of members. We then touch on a number of dating and social topics that will definitely grab your attention. At the end, there's a special announcement that will come in handy this weekend.
The fellas from Good Culture are in the studio with fellow Dallas lifestyle brand La$t Tribe. La$t Tribe focuses on promoting fashion and music in the city and are looking to do big things in 2016. We spoke with their flagship artist Curtis Mayz and COO of the company, Ikory, on their fashion label, Dallas' fashion scene and their presence in the booming Dallas rap scene. It's live in the five, GOOD people.
The fellas of Good Culture welcome our first female guest into the studio on this episode of the podcast. Ms. Jade Kendle is one of the hottest beauty bloggers on the web and will be joining us to discuss make up, dating, partying and entrepreneurship. We dive into her experiences as a woman of influence in beauty and business and she gets some answers on the dating habits of men. We also provide information regarding "The Exodus" 2016 NYE Celebration. And Osa was there.
The guys from Good Culture are in the studio with the men of Where People Meet Together to highlight their upcoming Savor The Moment event. Besides focusing on the motivation and details for the event, the fellas engage in some barber shop talk on an array of things.
